As my first post with highlights from tanker earnings calls was well-received, here is another. Greek crude tanker owner Okeanis has developed a cult following since 2020, and its earnings calls often involve a more detailed discussion of VLCC and Suezmax market dynamics than you usually hear on earnings calls.

The company normally doesn’t have many analysts on their earnings calls, but this time there was a veritable STAMPEDE (yes, that’s a sentiment indicator). This led to some interesting back and forth, so I’ve decided to just focus on this call today.
