I can’t promise that it will be an exhaustive explanation. But hopefully these images I share will go from being “a wall of data” to “meaningful information” by the time you finish reading this article.
So, let’s start with the basics, and answer the question:
“What the hell am I looking at?”
Infinity’s daily “Rate Stipulations” is a snapshot of spot rates (i.e. “dayrates”, or rates earned per day) for product tanker carriers (also called “clean” tankers). Clean tankers carry refined petroleum products, i.e. the end products of crude oil, after it has been processed at a refinery.
